The 4th National Youth Congress of Laboratory Medicine is scheduled to be held in Chengdu, Sichuan from September 16 to 20, 2002. The Congress aims to exchange the research progress, academic achievements and work experience of Chinese young analysts in the field of laboratory medicine and to show the spiritual outlook of Chinese young analysts. It will be first-grade Congress sponsored by Chinese Medical Association. The middle-aged and young analysts from Mainland China and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan as well as overseas Chinese are invited to attend and present papers in the meeting.
Paper invitation and requirements
1. Age of the first author - The first authors should be below 46 by October 1, 2002 and required to attend the Congress once their papers are selected.

1. Requirements on the papers
Each contributor is requested to send a full text and an abstract of 800 words, and list his/her name, employer and postcode under the title of the paper. All papers and abstracts shall be printed on paper of A4 by computer, and the abstract shall be placed before each full text. The papers should not be published elsewhere.
2. Deadline for contribution - May 31, 2002, subject to the date of postmark.
