After the enquiries held on March 27, 2001 and May 23, 2001, the Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) Board in accordance with the regulations made under section 29 of the Supplementary Medical Professional Ordinance, Chapter 359, has found that a Registered MLT was guilty in Hong Kong of Unprofessional Conduct in that he performed tests for the purpose of medical diagnosis and/or treatment in absence of a referral.  Because of this, the Registered MLT was removed from the register for a month.  Such order was published in the Government of HKSAR Gazette, No. 28/2001.
