On behalf of the Organizing Committee of The Ninth Chinese Laboratory Medicine Conference (9^th CLMC) and The Hong Kong Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences, we cordially invite you to attend the 9^th CLMC at the Academy of Medicine, which will be held at Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong on June 26^th - 29^th 2009. The theme, "Striving for Excellence in the Practice of Medical Laboratory Sciences", reflects the goal of the conference.

The biennial Chinese Laboratory Medicine Conference has become the pre-eminent forum for sharing and acquiring the recent advances and breakthroughs in medical laboratory sciences. Not only it provides a unique platform for medical laboratory professionals, researchers and academicians in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and China to pursue clinical and scientific enhancements in the multi-disciplinary medical laboratory sciences, but also it attracts overseas Chinese professionals to share their knowledge and experience.

We are excited to announce that renowned speakers from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China will be invited to present plenary lectures and key-note speeches. Free paper presentation and poster viewing of accepted abstracts will also be conducted to ensure a stimulating and wide-ranging scientific programme covering : Anatomical Pathology and Cytology, Chemical Pathology and Toxicology, Clinical Immunology, Haematology and Coagulopathy, Transfusion Science and Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant, Medical Microbiology, Mycology and Virology, Medical Genetics and Molecular Pathology.

A state-of-the-art exhibition of supplies/services in medical laboratory sciences will be open to all participants.
